You have movies & books such as George Orwell's 1984, THX 1138, BladeRunner, Brazil, Brave New World & countless others. All of these stories start by having the viewer/reader already in the muck. The grim future is present time upon reading the first page or immediately when watching the movie...but most of these visions don't show the reader how it started or how things started to slip. You open the book or begin the movie & you are thrown into the future & how miserable life is in that future.
The reason for this is because this sort of major shift in reality is accomplished by incrementalism; a little bit here & a little bit there. Most people couldn't imagine a real world as depicted in these books & movies simply because we Americans would never let it happen...unless it happens very slow over a long period of time. This is not very entertaining for the reader or viewer if we had to be shown how "their" world got to where it is once we settled into our seat or favorite reading chair.
The best example of incrementalism that I have heard is the boiling frog analogy.
If you place a frog in a pot of boiling water, then the frog will immediately jump out.
If you place a frog in room temp water & slowly turn up the heat, then the frog stays in the water until it has died!
Still not getting through?
You're at the pool & the water is freezing. No way are you jumping in so you decide to sit on the edge of the pool & you put your feet in the water. After your feet have acclimated to the frigid water, you cautiously lower yourself into the water one inch at a time. By the time you get all the way in, the water feels fine.
Why is that? The water is still freezing but you got used to it over time!!!
We are not going to wake up one morning & see everyone wearing futuristic silver uniforms enjoying their Soilent Green! History & logic has proven that the best way to change a person or a people is by incrementalism. If you get the people to believe (over time) that a change is their idea or is for the greater good, then you have compliance & obedience.
This article answers the question of how, in those "Big Brother" style movies & books, the world allowed the dystopian mindset to overcome the world. INCREMENTALISM!
I felt sick to my stomach when I read this article & watched the promo video, as I have heard it called now. What are they promoting? Your children are not yours! Your children are part of a collective! WTF!!! We have President Obama saying that business owners didn't "do it on their own" & now we have mainstream media saying our children aren't ours either.

The World Is A Stage
This article has less to do with celebrities speaking from emotion instead of logic & more to do with how our government uses that emotion to move their agenda forward.
Just like Rahm Emanuel said,
"You never let a serious crisis go to waste. And what I mean by that it's an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before".
The article states: Obama is also pushing for legislation, including a new “assault weapons” ban and a national federal database for gun owners.
Background checks are one thing but a National Federal Database? Remember when we were bamboozled into thinking that Saddam Hussein had Weapons of Mass Destruction? No real proof but we went after his "guns" anyway. What do you think our government would do if they had a list of every single gun owner in the United States?

I'm curious to when it would be ok for any government to "infringe on your freedom"!
Some of my posts may not warrant debate or comments. I still urge you to use your voice. Practice on me. Practice here on my blog. I have started this blog with one goal in mind; to spread the word! There has been such an influx of convoluted "news" thrown at us at every angle over the past 20 years that we need to be able to decipher what is important news & what is mental junk food. We have found ourselves surrounded by liars & magicians. It can be difficult to decide where to find honest news especially when the media giants are controlled by mega-corps with their own agendas. Who can you trust? Unfortunately I cannot answer that for you. What I can offer you are facts.
My agenda is personal freedom; my God given rights as well as the rights given to us by our founding fathers via The United States Constitution, Declaration of Independence & The Bill of Rights. It's that simple!
Having said that, I will periodically post articles of news & not opinion.
I ask one thing of you...DON'T BELIEVE WHAT I SAY, DON'T BELIEVE THESE ARTICLES!!!
That's right. Ever since your birth you have had everyone telling you what is truth & most of us never question it. "Well, if they say so then it must be true". Sound familiar? I am telling you the opposite! Don't believe me or the authors of these articles or the anchor person telling the story...
DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH!!!
I will present facts. I will show you 2 + 2 but it is up to you to decide what it equals!!! If you come up with 5 being your answer, then fine. If you can only come up with 4 being your answer, then you have made your first step toward being a true Patriot. Speak up for what you believe is right, just & fair! Speak up against the tyrants!
If you won't, then who will? Some may believe that your vote doesn't count. I'm not going to debate that because you're missing the point. It's your VOICE that counts! Talk about what you see, hear or read with everyone you know...everyone! This is our country! Changes happen, for the better or worse, because of people speaking! Use your voice!!!
